It looks like majority of the ministers lost out in the tussle. Amosun lost out, Aregbesola lost out, Akpabio lost out, Keyamo lost out, Yari and co lost out, Magnus Abe lost out. Adamu Adamu won the control of Bauchi, Lai mohammed lost out.

It was wise for the party to have left out Kano in order to avoid bad blood.
I don't know what is happening in sokoto,I thought the senator/immediate past governor had control there.

APC has two faction in Sokoto state; one segment is loyal to Senator Wamakko while the other segment under the leadership of member representing Illela/gwadabawa federal constituency Dr. Salame Is loyal to President Buhari only and nobody else.
There were two parallel congress giving birth to two separate state Executives of APC..

Wammako's faction I believe will prevail because they have the war chest as you say. They also have the other Senator, Gobir and the Minister of Police Affairs, Dingyadi.
