A presidential candidate must win 25% of votes in 24 states before proclaimed winner. Name any person from the south of Nigeria who can win 25% of votes in 24 states, worse, if Fulani-led northern region is supporting a northern presidential candidate.


So don't think that your people are better than the easterners in forming political alliance.

Apart from the 12 sharia states, a Southerner will get massive votes from other parts of Nigeria. Remember plateau, Benue , taraba , Adamawa ,kogi, nasarawa,fct, that are northern states have a huge Christian population
