I was highly disappointed with BF team and game plan but I have to critically analyze the whole match and I came to the conclusion that the match is a fixed one which points to the more you look the less you see. Don't forget that both countries has a common language between them and also the BF may use their loss to humiliate their government and denied the coup plotters who has toppled the elected democratic government the joy of the medals if they win. Looking in-depth at the match you'll realized that the game changed on its head by the 2nd half with the BF giving their opponent the room to direct the game without giving any resistance and any strong/purposeful mindset. Also, coupled with the way the 2 keepers dropped off from the match and the reactions of the 3rd keeper to the penalties.

There is third place match in world cup, only euro scrapped it because psychologically it is useless pitting two teams that has just lost their semi final matches against themselves in a short period of time, they are still nursing their wounds, that is why most times a third place match is an advanced friendly match used in testing most players that have played little or no minutes in the tournament.

Your two recent statements on this thread has made me thinking how old you are. First you claim third place match is not played at the world cup and now you ate discouraging someone from watching the winter Olympics cause "it is not for Africans". Can't he watch it for the entertainment and enlightenment values? I feel in love with winter sports with the 2010 Vancouver games and Sochi 2014 was the icing for me. I guess you didn't know there is a Nigerian at the games.
