I and my colleague at work argued this topic yesterday in the office. He thinks Obasanjo is a saint and not corrupt during his dispensation.

He added that if truely Obasanjo was corrupt, where are the evidence to prove it.

Do you agree to this?

Please your contributions.

cheers!

Can a saint move from N20k to N180B within eight years? Saint indeed. Your colleague wanted evidence, well, one is that Saminu Turaki, immediate past governor of Jigawa State said he gave N10B towards the third term project. He said this when EFCC accused him of stealing N17B. Remember this is money meant for the down-trodden folks in Jigawa State. OBJ knew this yet he accepted it.

In my opinion, no president/head of state, dead or alive, has stolen misappropriated public funds/assets to the extent that OBJ has done.

Where are the money? He still on farm and eat kola like poor men. He is old so, let assume he will die soon. What then, is he keeping the money for? In fact the man is a certified miser. I just wonder what he will do with the loot. He seen not to learn from Abacha who stole CBN but dead even before he enjoy a part of it. O ga o.
