An amazing study group made up of 12 members at the University of Education, Winneba, Kumasi Campus, Ghana has achieved groundbreaking success as each member has graduated with a first-class degree, Siggy reports.

Sharing their success story, one of the members identified on Facebook as Ernest Akatey revealed they call themselves Team Achievers.

Narrating how they were able to achieve the enviable success, Ernest said:

"It all started when Madam Haruna Baraka approached Mr Ernest Akatey to form a study group. The group started right from that time till our completion in 2021.

"Our way of life on campus was all about books and God. At the beginning of every Semester, we draw our time table and share the courses of the semester among facilitators who then prepare and come to teach the rest. Sometimes we go ahead of lecturers or do revision of things taught in normal classes until everyone understand."

Ernest further disclosed that the group got so serious that even when their teachers were on strike, they still came together to study effectively.

Aside from the 12 first-class degrees that were recorded, other associates of the Team Achievers got remarkable second-class degrees.

The Overall best student in the person of Mr Akatey Ernest with CGPA of 3.95/4.0 and overall best female students in the person of Madam Nkunim Emmanuella Anita with CGPA of 3.84/4.0

The following are the team members who made first class in BSc Management Education with their respective CGPAs

I’m sorry but this does not make sense. If you’re the unsuccessful 5th amongst 4 legitimately successful four, you should be asking yourself what you’re doing wrong. You don’t leave those successful.
No offense to you, but same mistake is often made by academically-struggling students. You see them forming cliques and all put together do not sum up to one, instead of the struggling students to mover closer to the brilliant students that can help them do better.
If you have friends that are genuinely successful and you’re not, cling on to them to show you the way.

Even before I entered the thread, I knew it can't be Nigeria.

Before I opend d thrnd. I said it can't be Nigeria.. Lecturer go frustrate all of them. If them get 2.1 them go happy sef..

Still, if you mix with brilliant people and they aren't showing you what to read, advising you on where to get better,you are not loved. If your successful friends aren't telling you steps to take,giving you advices,trying to fuse you into certain positions,you are not loved my brother.

Stop being wilfully ignorant. That CGPA format makes it harder to make good grades than the usual 5.00 format.

3.50-4.00 First Class
3.00-3.49 Second class (upper division)
2.00-2.99 second class (lower division)

Can you see how hard it is? Unlike your 5.00 where average and dull students with 3.52 CGPA (which they usually get from copying in exam halls) call themselves 2nd class upper graduate.
