Secondly is the drugs affordable?

Do you engage in homosexual activity?

Have you had a blood donation ?

Do you engage in intravenous drug use?

Did you take the Jewish poison aka Covid vaxx?

If not, then go for another test because HIV is only transmitted or acquired from any of the four listed dangerous life choices.

It's no longer a life sentence... Just take the drugs regularly... Eat healthy... And protect yourself to avoid reinfection...

The stage u are right now is the stage that kills easily which is the anxiety stage... This stage, it's not the HIV but the fear of the unknown/ stigmatization... If u have a supporting family who doesn't care but takes u as u are, u can manage it for more than 30 years depending on your health and hygiene habit...

There are so many chronic conditions worst than HIV .. One of the silent killer is diabetes.. and people doesn't take it seriously...

I can share contacts of people who work in specialized STD units in the Southwest. They can provide medications and counseling. You'd be fine

It's not the end of the world. I know people living with HIV that are living the best part of their lives now. You might feel bad about it, but it can't be the end of the world. There are many things you can accomplish irrespective of your status.

First of all CONGRATULATIONS!! Because now you know. 99.5% of the people commenting here don’t know their HIV status. Now lock this in your head!!.. HIV is not what it use to be, thanks to the advancement in medical sciences, living with HIV is now easy & simple if you can get the right medications & sincerely commit to the program. It doesn’t stop you from living your normal life & achieving anything you desire. So please get off this silly thought now, the thought will destroy you quicker..

Depression over the knowledge of contracting such diseases is said to be a bigger danger then the disease it self. And let me congratulate you again because enough have now discovered a rare opportunity to become an important person, you can use this new information you have on your status to start a whole mew career that will pay you good money. You can become an important HIV advocate & help save many people & promote an infinite range of products that the manufacture and marketers are trying to get to people living with HIV.

the drug is free,just register at a government hospital and you will receive free drugs.meanwhile ,hiv is not a big deal this days ,not saying it to make you happy but telling you the truth.after 2 years of steady intake of your medication,you can sleep with a woman without transmitting sef.just know that you will take the drugs for the rest of your life.

Op, I wish you the very best. HIV isn't a small thing. The so-called free ARV messes up someone a lot. That is the reason most HIV patients stop taking it sometimes. In as much as you can still live with it for years, this requires money to feed well, and get supplements. I wish you the best!

Mild symptoms after 2weeks.

more symptoms shows up after 6weeks (mild too)

Begin to feel sick after 9weeks (not mild)

Noticeable shift in personal health curve.. After 12weeks.

Time to seek help comes even after 2 weeks, if you suspect a burst condom or know partner has the virus..

HIV antigen are detectable after just 2weeks of infection. 90% accurate.

While antibodies come later on, say 6weeks.. 70% accurate

Although all hiv Test related issues would and must show up by 2 months post exposure.

How ever if you are exposed to the virus, you can enhance your chances of staying negative by taking a drug called PrEP or Post exposure prophylaxis to fight off the virus.this must be done within 48hours of exposure . Its also a hiv drug.. But it helps keeps you negative...

And there's something my bro told me recently about this hiv tho I'm not too sure, he said there's this injection that costs over 200k or more that if you suspect that u contracted hiv and u take the injection within two days the shot will kill the antibodies or whatever instantly, just the same way pregnancy is prevented with contraceptives

It is called PEP, Post Exposure Prophylaxis. Indeed the medication exist that can "abort" a possible exposure to the HIV Virons but this works if taken within 72hrs of exposure

And the meds are not IV but pills and they dont cost anywhere near the figure you quoted

Note that the meds are taken for 28days and has only about 67% success rate, in other words, not a license for risky behaviour as they can potentially fail

I'd just like to add that if you have not given your life to Jesus then you shd finally do so. Live a true christian life afterwards.

Hey man cmon it isn't the end you can live a normal life taking your drugs daily and if you're lucky it was detected early stages it can even clear if you take ur drugs correctly (as early as 3 months old) herpes is deadlier than hiv so stop being worried and do the needful btw drugs are free at general hospitals

The drugs are completely free. The hiv clinic will give you a bottle that covers for 30days at this early stage.
So as your health and drug compliance Improves, they will shift you to dosage that covers for 2months or even 3months..

Drugs are called ARV antiretroviral drugs.
They are produced by different drug companies. Some arv you take just one tablet daily,

while some you take 2times daily.

Depending on your hiv clinic, tell the counsellor that because of your daily activities you prefer the ARV that can be taken once daily.. It helps with compliance..

But have you started showing symptoms of the hiv?

What prompted you to take an hiv test?

Have you reached out to your partner? She or he too may be Infected....

What u need to do is go to a federal/General hospital, there is a place way them dey dash those drugs for free, U will meet hundreds of people with same condition as you.
