It's a very good bill but I really doubt if it can go through the current apc majority nass members are too corrupt and self centered to allow such a bill that targets them to go through. This bill will discourage empty headed people like buhari in future to seek to become nigeria's president.

Is there any difference between public and personal funds for Nigerian politicians?

They loot the public funds into their personal accounts and use it for medical treatment or do these guys expect that they would fund their medical tourism directly from the public account? Naija politicians are smart thieves naa.

The bill won't make any impact .
They should rather pass a bill that would ban current leaders to seek medical treatment abroad. If you want to go abroad for treatment as a leader whether local, state or federal then resign your post. Let us know people who can forsake their priviledge cos they wants to lead Nigeria with all their heart not these current and past idiots populating the leadership space across the country.

Mynd44:
Question because this is vague.

1. Does public funds includes security apparatus, logistics like planes and cars, does it include hotel accommodation for aides and security?

2. In the case of office holders with immunity(President, vice President, Governors, Deputy governors), do you try them after their tenure or is it an impeachable offence?

The clause that is included concerning a recommendation by minister for health and commissioner for health makes the whole bill useless... These people will always align with their bosses

Best bill ever! It shouldn't be just health, but other sectors as well.

connkg:
1. Reduce foreign healthcare
2. Reduce foreign education
3. Reduce foreign vacation
4. Reduce foreign deposit accounts
5. Reduce foreign visa applications and exams
6. Reduce foreign visits to "invite direct investment". Investors will assess you online before coming.
7. Reduce foreign tours to "understand bilateral relationships". Let the various Nigerian Embassies do their jobs.

Reduce?
Cancel.
Let us know once and for all. Cancel is cancel.
In fact burn the airport.
If you say reduce now, logistics will set in. How many is reduce? Somebody use to go 100 times. Ok, let him go 99 times instead.
Shey no be reduce be that? He reduced from 100 to 99.
But he's still going na!?
