For 6years now our beautiful IMO has maintained the position of the most educated state in Nigeria, beating Lagos 4times consecutively to the top position.
As it stands Imo State records an exalted standing of 96% literacy rate.
Only Ebonyi is not in the current top 15 List in all Eastern States.

In IMO State it is close to impossibility not to find a PhD holder in every Family you walk into.

Education is also affected by insurgency.

A bit better than the North. Most of the unis are shit. Their best students migrate westward for superior Education.

Several quality schools. Uniben, Unical, Delsu comes to mind. Cult ridden tho.

Uniabuja, Unijos, Unilorin, Kwasu. They're not doing badly at all.

1. SW
Undisputed best destination of quality universities in Nigeria. Both private and public. If not for Nigeria, West Africans will come to study in SW universities. The best by Miles. Both in quality of graduates, professor's, papers and alumni achievements.
