The remarkable success of the economic achievement of China have make the cost of living in the world to be affordable by all. but at what cost is the world economy paying for china's prosperity. china produces every local product from virtually every country at a cheaper price in it's own country, there by making the local industry to fold up and leading to unemployment. and we are happy to patronize made in china product at the expense of the growth of our own economy. What formula is the Chinese government using for the success they have achieve that our own government cannot learn from. it is high time we give what ever it will take to make this nation a better place for us. Nigeria does not have any excuse for not having a good economy because God really, really,, bless us. what is it that we are not doing right?

China is a big big big curse. Think about it, all nigeria's textiles are made in China this creates jobs in China. While a huge percentage of nigeria is unemployed.

Same goes for plastics, fabrics, electronics etc. China makes these things so inexpensivly that no one can compete thus 3rd world countries will import chinese products rather than invest in creating the product locally, And creating jobs. In africa nothing can be done about this until we get 24/hr electricity because as it is now the cost of production in africa is much higher than even in some European countries.

What we need are tarrifs on chineses products.

Brother i understood your point, that is what the west made us to believe. They saw the potentials in Africa, Asia and south America, they used IMF and other crooked bodies to derail the economy of these continents. Now it has backfired, theirs economy is now collapsing. Greece, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, the list continues

Does America, Germany, Uk made China not to develop to where they are? So it now that China is the problem of Nigeria? What about Brazil and upcoming India? Our problem as far as I am concern is not China. We should look inward instead of outward. China can not help us to fix our local problems. Leadership, oh! leadership. When fish want spoil, it starts from the head.

Paloo1234 You said it all.

China is not our problem, we like to buy, buy and buy !!
Until the culture of 'Me too', 'I don arrive' and 'copy copy' is changed for contentment,
there will be no headway to freedom from the fake products if we still like the 'fake life'

sometimes I wonder if we eally need some of the stuff we really pursue and wonder what went wrong
with products made in Nigeria, I discovered it is just greed, quick money and mere desire for 'anything foreign'
that was the problem.

We must mind how we place value on Brands and quality rather than quantity!!!

No way can you say that china are a curse because they are not, Nigeria is just a good site for their parasitism to thrive so, blame Nigerians not china because if we reject and snub their products, they wont bother selling in Nigeria
