Could it be because the illegal refineries are being destroyed. I think there refineries produce so much quantity that we take for granted. Hundreds of trucks load these refined petroleum products produced by illegal refineries daily. So, as they are being destroyed because of the environment pollution, it is now affecting the nation. Please, if there is any other logical reason or facts about the scarcity, let us know.

My friend bought for 600 per litre yesterday

In other countries people would have shunned fuel and stayed at home to cripple the economy till government is ready to sit up.

But in Nigeria people will still buy the fuel even if u sell for 10,000 per litre then when you protest, they will say it is because you are too broke to afford it that is why you are protesting.
