Maybe abroad is not as heavenly as we thought sha.

I want to bet they will resolve the issue earnestly.

What if they don't resolve it earnestly? Guess you read where someone said his daughter school in Canada went on a 5months strike?

All countries have their problem, Nigeria inclusive. Those are already developed countries, ours is a developing country. It's like comparing a 20year old to a day old baby

No comparison please

University of Lethbridge in Canada is currently on strike.

Canadian truckers have been protesting in Ottawa for almost a month now. The government of Canada froze their accounts and has been arresting protesters. The exact same way end sars protest was handled.

We don’t see these reports from ‘saner climes’ in the news. We Nigerians just love to over exaggerate our issues.
Things like that happen abroad. That's true, but not at the scale at which it occurs in Nigeria. At least you'll never see Canadian police shooting at protesters. I saw nothing less than ten different videos of police killing someone during the endSARS period.

The strike only occurred in her school. Unlike ASUU that affects the whole federation

That it happened in Canada does not mean it is right and neither does it exonerate Buhari. When we argue, it should be critical argument that is sound and not all these argument that only shows our subservient nature to slave master's driving the country to perdition.

And when you say "exaggerate our issues", do you mean that #Endsars was the only problem Nigeria had up till then?

Many Nigerians behave like those village boys that think Lagos is some sort of heaven. Thanks to Nollywood stereotyped story lines. They finally come to Lagos, and discover Lagos isn't heaven after all.

USA and UK aren't necessarily the answers to your life's problems. They have their problems too. Many of our People are littered across these places, stranded, and too ashamed to come back.

They're stranded because they are staying in the country illegally. Yes, they should be stranded. That shows that their system works.

If you are in any of those countries, and have the right to work, you can never be stranded except you go cast yourself.

I’m in no way trying to exonerate Buhari, neither am I saying it’s right because it happened in Canada. I’m comparing the news coverage of such incidences. End Sars was on almost every major news station in the world, who’s covering the Canadian version?

Where is Jack Dorsey? By exaggerate our issues, I mean we give press to every negative happening in the country. Someone who never lived in naija would think Nigeria is one very big jungle where nothing works. Even though some of our problems are not peculiar to us.
