Only fools n lunatics blames everyone else but themselves who happen to be the real pain of their agony for the woes. Just imagine if an Igbo had the intuition to position himself where n how Tinubu is right now will you dead brain Igbos be lamenting like vultures now.

Vertraulichkeit:
If not that the majority of the voting population are cowards, yes cowards they are because they will always allow sentiments belcoud their sense of right and wrong, some popular politicians from the South East wouldn't have been insisting on the major political parties micro-zoning their presidential tickets to them before throwing in their hats in the contest fully. So, the South East politicians aren't the cowards; the sentimental and hypocritical voting majority are the cowards.

So if your father invested 60 in a portfolio you will be OK with him accepting 2% while that with 2% take over 60%. Is this the topic we should learn from your dubious Igbos in 2022.

What did APGA offer APC to feel entitled to it presidential ticket.

Penguin2:

As much as your argument is still logical and would pass as valid, it falls short of social and distributive justice and equity, that should exist within a union.

So the CPC got the presidency in 2015.
The ACN got the Vice Presidency.
While nPDP got the Senate (through struggle).

Now, in 2023, your proposing a scenario that ACN, again, elevates to the presidency while the nPDP settles for Vice presidency.

Where does that leave the ANPP bloc?
Where does that leave the APGA bloc?

In fairness, should the bloc that got nothing at all in 2015 not get the largest share of the available offices while the bloc that got second to nothing follows in that order before those who got the largest share in 2015 are considered?

Should it rather than be the survival of the fittest where the strongest should always win and those who are not as strong can continue to grumble?

If you support that notion, then it would also be valid to argue that the CPC bloc, since they are in power, can scheme to retain power even in the north and not bother about zoning it to the south at all.

Or you think there’s anything ACN bloc or any other bloc at all can do other than pull out of the union?

But if you are ask to mention the political elites promoting Igbo fear your father won't be able to list a single one which proves that you are indeed a fool.

Penguin2:

Nigerian voters are not cowards per se, the Igbo fear has just been planted in their subconsciousness over the years through Yoruba media.

And the intention of the Yorubas is that an Igbo man should get PDP ticket while a Yoruba man get APC ticket so that they (Yoruba) can amplify the Igbophobia to high heavens and make the rest of Nigerians vote for the Yoruba candidate out of fear of what Igbos will do.

So, you don’t blame the voters, blame the political elites who have made anti Igbo propaganda their winning tool since after the civil war.

Look at this argument too.

CPC got presidency
ACN got Vice presidency
nPDP got Senate presidency (Saraki)

Now, is it too weird to say in 2023, ACN bloc gets presidency, nPDP gets Vice and CPC gets Senate president.

See how logic can be twisted and you still would win the argument?

Let everyone go and contest and may the best politician win. Why are people so afraid to compete against humans like them? That is how one politician was saying he won't contest unless the ticket was micro-zoned to his geo-politican zone. Cowardice un the highest order.

If you know you are popular enough to be president, then you should be popular enough in your party to win a fair primary election

For a supposed Moderator on this forum, you're so thick in the head for the bolded.

Going by your logic, why are there clamors the ticket should be zoned to the south then, effectively disenfranchising the north of their constitutional right to be voted for?

National cohesion is about fairness and equity. Something you would know nothing about since you love to play God on this tiny forum. Tueh!

There's nothing like bloc sharing formular here, those who came in from ANPP and APGA knew exactly what they are getting into. Democracy is a game of numbers, and that is the one sole thing that our brothers from the other end of the south do not understand. No one will ever leave the stage for you to get what you want, you have to politically convince them to support you with their numbers and so, if ANPP and APGA bloc wants something more than what they have gotten before, they should form an alliance. In the same way, if our brothers from the other end of the south wants something more, they should learn to form an alliance and not hate on others and expect that those they are hating on should leave the stage for them. Tinubu knew he was going to contest for president, he formed an alliance with the north and now it's paying off. They should do the same and be more forward thinking than to think they can get it by playing the victim card.

Penguin2:
In 2013, four different parties, CPC, ACN, ANPP and Some part of APGA, came together and coalesced to become one political party known today as APC.

Later on in 2014, Chibuike Amaechi, the then governor of Rivers State, led five (5) rebellious governors and other heavyweight politicians of the PDP who had christened themselves as New PDP (NPDP), to join the newly formed APC and thereby reinforced the party and gave it more reach and influence.

At the party’s presidential convention in 2014, Muhammad Buhari of the CPC bloc became the presidential flag bearer of the party while Yemi Osinbajo of the ACN bloc became his running mate.

Graciously, these two won the election in 2015 and won re-election in 2019 and would be completing their constitutionally possible two terms.

Now, as the party prepares for 2023, does it not translate to greed for either of CPC or ACN bloc to still want either the presidency or the vice presidency?

As a union of different blocs, does it not make sense therefore that 2023 should be the year that the ANPP, APGA and NPDP bloc be rewarded for their role in the success of APC in 2015?

Or is any bloc trying to claim that it’s contribution is the highest and therefore other blocs should remain as spectators while they keep taking and sharing the spoils?

So, in conclusion, as the APC prepares for 2023, the CPC and ACN blocs of the party can vie any other position available in the party but not the Presidency and the Vice Presidency; those two positions should be the exclusive preserve of other blocs of the party whose contributions were equally consequential to APC’s success in 2015.

npdp left Apc already.
Apga and Anpp bloc have little or No contribution to the party, cos they couldn't deliver their zone in 2019.
Acn delivered southwest, plus parts of north central which was originally their zone.
CPC delivered north west, north east which is originally their zone.
Literally ACN and CPC takes the larger share of sharing blocs.
You cant invest 10% and expect 60% profit sharing, it is impossible.
The largest shareholder of APC is ACN caucus. They have right to claim of presidential seat.
