Might need this pansophist: Eating balance diet is not hard or expensive, you jidt need to know your way around food. So the six balance diet are protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, fibre and water. There are lots of ways you can achieve those without spending much, either eating out.
If I have 1k and want to eat a balance diet, I'll eat wheat, with vegetable soup and fish, with water of course. Wheat contains fibre, carbohydrates and proteins. The vegetable soup contains vitamins and fats, as well as proteins and fats from the the mackerel.
To break it down, protein is found in anything that bleed blood. So you can't get carbohydrates, vitamins, and fibre from animals. So eggs, beef, fish, goat, chicken, just anything with blood will give you protein and fats.
As for carbohydrates, the same rule applies. Anything that grows from the ground will give you carbs, even vegetables. So rice, sugar, beans, yam, fruits, even some vegetables are high in carbs, such as potatoes. If you particularly want to loose weight without going to the gym and kicking yourself with exercise, then reduce eating things that grows from the ground massively.
As for fibre, this one also grow from the ground, but as an attachment to other foods. Beans, wheat, rice foe example all have fibres. Fibre makes you full, it increase satiety and makes you less hungry. So if you're short of cash and don't want to be eating always like a chicken, eat fiber rich foods like beans, wholewheat bread, oats, quinoa and so forth.
As for water, that one is self explanatory. Don't drink soda, it's the most useless and dangerous thing you can put in your body. It has no single nutritional benefits except tasting sweet, increase your blood sugar level, causes diabetes and makes you fat and weak. So please avoid that liquid, water is cheap and healthy. |

Seunnzy: i would have prefer praize too, they could have searched for dare art alade, wud be good too Aaarh... Dare! Why the hell did he skip my mind. Dare would have been a fine replacement too. See? I'm not the only one who thinks unfit of 2face and patoranking -especially 2face! You need to see the way this guy puts his english. Its so bad. Unlike Timi Dakolo, He(2face) lacks a wide collection of vocabs to express his sentiments of the contestants' performances. You need to see 2face making criticism. If he doesn't include atleast 12 pidgin out of 20 words, he isn't done. |

tollyB: Lol it won't be bad to have a space on nairaland to analyze the show... It's just a first edition, I think the show is cool... Nigeria has got fine singers.. who Is ur best Singer in the blind audition So far Yea I think so too. Cool show. The Idea that the coaches/judges don't hve to see the singer's face, but just hear the voice is super cool. That's what stands it out from all others. Speaking of best so far, ill give it to that guy who used to be gay, that contested in Nigerian idol and came second to Mercy, Joe Blue! The guy is a talent |

Does anyone also think that the voice's judges are unfit? That is besides Timi and Waje. 2face's English, to start with isn't fluent, neither does he know jerk about song coaching(seemingly). For Patoranking, his own is a topic to be analyzed another day. Bottom line, 2face and Patoranking could have had an impressive replacement in the likes of Cobhams Asuquo, Praiz or even Don Jazzy! You never know ;-( |

Pls o, what is NMC annual card maintenance fee?? This is for what first bank stole from me #100. untop of that, this bunch of robbers in suits and ties, still billed me 5% for money they stole! I cut cap for this kind robbery! How can you be stolen from, and still get to pay VAT for it.
This is not the first time I have been charged ridiculously. Last month, I was charged #75 and #65. In one month! What for? I don't bloody know! For whatever sake, I operate a savings account and not a current acc.
I intend to close my account. Cause I know nothing they will tell me can justify this robbery.
VERDICT: firstbank of nigeria steals!!! |
Business › Re: How To Buy Things From USA And Get It Here In Nigeria (part 2) by 6gozi(m): 1:25pm On Apr 27, 2016 |
mintyx: I once wrote here on Nairaland on how to shop abroad and get it here in Nigeria using payonner MasterCard and so on but things have changed and i wish to update on the newer methods.
To shop in the USA, here are the main requirements:
- An internationally accepted MasterCard. - A USA address that can deliver to Nigeria.
For MasterCard, a lot of Nigerian issued MasterCards are accepted on major USA sites. I have made use of GTbank Naira card as well as UBA Africard and i didn't have issues with them.
For a USA address, why you need this Address in the first place is because Some USA merchant sites don't ship directly to Nigeria so you'd need a company that is based in the USA that can issue you with a USA address so that when your orders or goods arrive, they can receive it and ship it to your Nigeria address.
I have made use of two companies for the USA address but let me talk on an indigenous company i discovered lately that is as swift as the foreign companies i used and even cheaper than the foreign counterparts.
The name of the company is SHOPTOMYDOOR. This company gives a free USA and China address unlike others who charge about $10 or more to issue you one. Their customer service is effective and efficient(you can even chat with them online). Their charges per kg is one of the lowest i have used. You can track your goods online from your dashboard once they receive and ship your goods.
You can register and get a free USA and china Address via this link:
https://www.shoptomydoor.com/invitations.php?parentid=17833
HOW TO SHOP AND SEND YOUR GOODS NOW YOU HAVE A USA ADDRESS
-Once you use your card on Amazon or eBay to shop, on the checkout page, you will be asked to provide your shipping address, -Enter the address given to you from shoptomydoor, as your shipping address. -Once you track your goods with the tracking number amazon or any other merchant site gives and discover it has been delivered to your address, -Log on to your shoptomydoor account and you will see your goods added to your member area with amount to pay either in dollars or in Naira depending on the currency you choose in your settings. -You can then make payment either to their Nigerian bank account or via their PayPal account. -your job is done here and its now their job to ship it to you. -Once they ship your goods, they will keep you updated at every point in time on where your goods are via email.
Let me stop here so far. Its not easy to type this epistle oh lol but i will try and answer any questions as far as i can and add more tips and cheaper places to shop abroad.
Happy New month to you all.
here is a link to my old thread on this same issue https://www.nairaland.com/1418753/how-buy-things-us-get Had to quote u -i may need this information |

The best way to profit from sport betting is by reducing the probability of its failing rate. How? Simply by accumulating less!! Bookmakers wants you to accumulate as much as would be required for atleast 1 to cut the entire bet. Don't play by their desire. Target atmost 2.0odd at a time, accumulate not more than 3games at a time, And stake as much as 10k instead of the usual 100,200 naira stakes. There are also a number of safe bets you can accumulate to ensure winning. https://m.facebook.com/soccertipseveryday?v=feed&_rdr Like my page to get sure 2.0 odds everyday. |
