Wike is an emperor, posts security threat to Cross River, says APC Chairman

The All Progressives Congress, APC Chairman in Cross River State, Barr. Alphonsus Eba has declared Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State as a security threat to Cross River State, a South-South neighbouring state.
Eba made the statement on Monday in a media briefing, five days to the Cross River State by-elections in Ogoja/Yala Federal and Akpabuyo State Constituencies.

Talking politics, the newly inaugurated APC Chairman appealed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to warn the Rivers State Governor from meddling into the affairs of Cross River Politics. “Wike has no business being in Calabar the State capital because the by-elections are not in the State capital but Ogoja/Yala and Akpabuyo State Constituencies”, Eba said.
According to Eba, the Rivers State Governor has been stepping on the toes of the Cross River State Governor, Sen. Ben Ayade, who do not want confrontation with his colleague.

“We do not want confrontation with any State Governor, we are a peace-loving State but that should not be taken for granted”, Eba warned.
He recalled the role played by the Rivers State Governor in the Northern Senatorial District Appeal Court judgement that produced Senator Jarigbe Agom – which is still fresh and called on the Apex Court to review the matter.
