Absolutely no command given by God in His New Covenant, Jesus Christ, that children provide financially for their parents. However, it is against God for you to neglect your relatives particularly their needs - Isaiah 58 vs 6 - 13 , and it is certainly against His Law, Jesus Christ, to ignore your neighbor who is in need .

So you are expected to also feed and care for your parents as you would your neighbor.
