Where did we get it wrong, cattle and meat production leads to environmental pollution. Cattle release methane, which is 23 times more harmful than carbon dioxide, the main greenhouse gas in car emissions.Besides cow’s gas, their manure can be problematic. The phosphorus and nitrogen in cow manure, after it’s applied to farmland as fertilizer, can run off with rainfall into local waterways, contributing to algal blooms that turn the water green and can produce toxins harmful to drinking water. Instead of advocating for reduction of beef consumption, increase in vegetables and chicken, and going green to safe our lungs and breathe in fresh air, the government is encouraging pollution by funding cattle purchase. We're far behind in Africa

“It was awarded for N56.175billion. Hopefully, this should facilitate the completion of that critical highway, which started in 2006,” he said.

2006, the locust years when the fantastically corrupt PDP was in power. Thank God APC government is finishing those abandoned projects littering the federation.

FG should please intervene in the abandoned Old Federal Secretariat complex in Ikoyi, Lagos as well. That whole complex breaks my heart seeing it in that abandoned state for over a decade now.
Please FG and LASG should resolve the issue.

On the cows, N2 billion is just enough to procure less than or just around 10,000 cows.

Though this is good initiative o and can help the ravaged folks get back and start their economic life again but sincerely, it is paltry and I expect Taraba state Government to contribute another N2 billion to get more cows for those victims of the insecurity by terrorist bandits, communal strife, cattle rustlers etc.

N2 billion is like chicken change to these Governors, in fact, not more than what any of the Oil rich Niger Delta state Governors donates to the PDP wink
