TBH though, social media is a mean place.

It's as if some people make deliberate efforts to mentally wreck others.

Some of these "diss" are what you might bring up in the company of your friends - regular banter stuff.

But coming out expressly with it is just not bants again.

The South African rapper that was announced dead yesterday is suspected to have committed suicide, due to depression or so.


I saw a Tweet earlier where CKay was vehemently denying it was him that liked a Tweet yabbing WizKid, claiming it was a hack. Even added he will leave management of his Twitter to his management, for the "sake of his mental health".

That was cos of the incredible amount of bashing WizKid's fans dished out to him.

There are a couple of other examples. And I can't help wondering if some of these 'savagery' are worth it. I don't hero-worship any "celeb" or whatever, but this matter has to be talked about. Right?!

Well ...

Fans take some of these things too far, more than the celebs themselves. In some cases, 2 celebs are pitched against each other as rivals/enemies. In real life, they are cool. It's the fans that always instigate and fuel the competition.
