Justice Meyer was blindsided and forces out by the deepstate when his time is not up. His term expires in July. Never has there been a nominee before a justice leaves. Democrats know they are done after the midterm elections so they want to rush. For that, the seat must be left till after midterm.

Democrats will retain congress save your tears for November also Democrats don't need Republicans to support thanks to Republicans who changed the rules for 51 votes for SCOTUS nominee.
