Russian President Vladimir Putin have called for negotiations. This is coming after his most trusted ally, China came out to condemn invasion of sovereign state of Ukraine while recognizing Russian fears of Ukraine joining NATO. President Xi further advised Russian President Vladimir Putin to halt military operations and apply diplomatic negotiations through dialogue. This further reveals that Putin was banking on China's full support should NATO enter the war, and now that Putin is not guaranteed of China's full military support, Putin is calling for negotiations and also appealing to Ukraine Military to overthrow the incumbent government to enable them have a fruitful dialogue. This is an exposure that Russia have been super scared of NATO but banked on China's help should NATO join the war.

War is never the solution. Putin (this war is never about Russia) should recall his army, not that they are going to win anyway, but to avert more blood shed, a sacrifice the good people of Ukraine are ready to pay for their freedom. China is right on this even though the country is being ruled same way as Russia. |
