Spoke on the phone with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba. Expressed sympathy for the needless loss of life and destruction and reiterated Nigeria’s recognition of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

I also expressed concern at the news of Ukrainian border guards hindering the exit of Nigerian citizens. He asserted that Ukrainian border guards have been instructed to allow all foreigners to leave. He promised to investigate and revert quickly.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reverted to state: "It’s official: no restrictions for foreign nationals to leave the country exist. Problem is the result of chaos on the border and check points leading to them".

I am personally coordinating with our missions in Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Romania and Hungary to ensure we get our citizens out of Ukraine and bring back to Nigeria those ready to return, while supporting those who are remaining in Ukraine.

Our people too, untill the war starts affecting them, that's when they would want to leave. It's their fault and also Ain't their fault. They've come a long way to just abandon all they have laboured for/is laboring for because of some war rumors, which is no longer a rumor.

Just imagine this statement when the war has started. Which aircraft can get there now that the air space has been closed?

Nigerian embassy officials abroad are among the worst in the world. They behave like mini gods and look for avenues for bribe. A lot of things are not properly done by them.

Our government had the whole time to get things done and they never. Nigerians in Ukraine who have managed own their own to get to the border with Poland are not allowed even to get into Poland.

Maybe our government wants to send escort vehicles with sirens from Nigeria to Ukraine to pick them up.
Na siddon look we dey.

Ukraine government is trying to save his people from death by any means possible and you think they will release the slot for their citizens safety for foolish set of people that keeps voting Criminals without vision?

In motor parks, Churches, e.t.c, you will see a Nigerian black man hustling space for his friends or family, Some even hustle space for their bag or Bible. Here they are shouting Racism on a government working for his people.

Nigerians in Ukraine got enough warning to leave on time, they didn't.

The FG got enough info to evacuate Nigerians on time, they didn't.

When the US gave warnings for weeks about the possible attack and invasion of Russia in Ukraine and that nations should evacuate their citizens away from Ukraine, while reasonable nations began moving into action by taking evacuating their citizens, some people were saying it was just propaganda from the west and they were being backed up by their Nairaland brothers-in-arms.

War has broken out already and they are trapped in Ukraine but they are shouting Racism up and down.

Keep applying pressure by exposing the Nigerian government for their lack of commitment to citizens. The black man don suffer due the laziness and greed of the black man. Respect yourself black people. Force black leaders to respect you, so that you get respect from the rest of the world.

The usual super story. Serious countries that care had evacuated their citizens from Ukraine before the invasion. Here we are, in the midst of invasion, we are 'coordinating'.
