Liverpool have emerged as the most successful club in the Carabao Cup history after winning the trophy for the 9th time on Sunday. The Reds beat Chelsea to the title on penalties after playing a goalless draw during regulation time. This is also their first domestic trophy of the season. Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was brought on in the closing moments of extra time as a penalty specialist, missed the decisive spot-kick after a magnificent game at the Wembley Stadium came down to a shoot-out between Chelsea’s keeper and his Liverpool counterpart Caoimhin Kelleher.
