Before the white men came - Afro-Iranian slavery (c. 1502–1736 AD)

Between AD650 and AD1600, an average of 5,000 Africans were shipped out by the Arabs, making a rough total of 7.25 million.
Again, between 1600 and 1800, another 1.4 million Africans were shipped out by the Arabs. The 19th century represented the highest point of the Arabian trade where 12,000 Africans were shipped out every year. The total figure for the 19th century ALONE was 1.2 million slaves to Arabia.(1).
The majority of Afro-Iranians came to Iran via the Indian Ocean slave trade. Because of the dispersal of slaves throughout the Middle East and subcontinent, virtually every country bordering the Persian Gulf has a legacy of slavery and African population, like the Afro-Iraqis, Afro-Pakistanis, Afro-Kuwaitis, Afro-Omanis, Afro-Saudis , and so on.

Thus, women slaves in the Arab world were often turned into concubines living in harems, and rarely as wives, their children becoming free. A large number of male slaves and young boys were castrated and turned into eunuchs who kept watch over the harems. Castration was a particularly brutal operation with a survival rate of only 10%.(2)
The victims of castration were usually boys between 8-10 years old(3). This was called genetic warfare to prevent the African man from reproducing.
Moreover, while the European/New World slavers profited mainly from male labor, the Arabs saw profit in sexual satisfaction/reproductive potential.

Slavery persisted as a legal practice in Iran until 1929, and at the moment Afro-Iranians constitute 10-12% of the population of southern Iran(4)

Even to this day, Arab slavers are still at work in Sudan and Mauritania, buying and selling black Africans.

Even India had enslaved Africans especially in the South of India.

Those mainly Arab and Middle-Easterners were very brutal to enslaved Africans for centuries and they have a slur word for Africans till today.
