Yankiss:
This is an eye opener in why we must be careful of who represents us and follow what they do out there. A bill for timeline for criminal and civil cases should have been passed. This saves litigants and leaves with less cases of jungle justice. People resort to self-help when they find it frustrating to obtain justice. The bill on sits for women was defeated because not enough women in the national assembly to fight for it. The only bill I am happy about is the declining to grant immunity for legislative and judicial officers. Bill on LGA financial autonomy is okay but the governors will find a way to circumvent it and continue as usual. Is it not t Nigeria?
Any Local Government Chairman wey gree nah mumu and won't last long on the seat.

If the bill is pass into law, a LG chairman can't be removed by the Governor, and won't even have access to the LG funds.

With what is going on in this country state police should be one of the top priority vos federal police alone is not enough for our security for now

Presently, the Accountant-General of the Federation is the Chief Accounting Officer of the FG, States and Local Governments.

So this bill will make the Accountant-General of the Federation disburse money to the tiers of Govt and manage the Federation Account whilst the Accountant-General of the Federal Government becomes the Chief Accounting Officer of the FG.

A Senate that was voted in by women cannot actually agree on bills that protect women's rights what exactly do you expect when women have political apathy.
