Popular Dubai-based Nigerian socialite, Sodiq Oluwadamilola known as Dharmie Richie, died in mysterious circumstances on Saturday, February 26, 2022, in Dubai.

According to reports, Dharmie Richie died from depression after battling it for over two years.

His family members, in a video on Gossip Mill Naija's Instagram page, debunked the claims that he died of depression as is widely reported.

They claimed his own mother killed him because he was jealous of him and wanted all his money and wealth.

They explained that Dharmie Richie died the same way his father died.

In a recent video also spotted on Gossip Mill Naija Instagram's page, Dharmie Richie’s paternal grandfather also backed the claims that he was killed by his mother and not out of depression.

According to him, Dharmie Richie once told him his mother was going to kill him one day and that she never allowed him to be close to them.
