Saliu Mustapha Is Running Our Race -APC Stakeholders Speak Up, Kick Against Imposition

It is finally the turn for the ruling party the All Progressives Congress, APC to conduct its own convention after the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP wrapped up their glitch-free convention since last year.

With so many postponements which have taken their toll on party members and supporters, many are still optimistic that the APC would get it proper this time around.

This month might in the end determine who wears the crown among the contenders for the APC's national chairmanship seat.

The stakes are heightened after so many prolonged rescheduling, interest groups are tasking the president to look critically into the INTEGRITY of the party as we approach crucial general elections ahead.

According to them, the upcoming party congress can only be expected to endorse this trend.

A group recently in a press publication tasked President Buhari with the way forward.

"We are overjoyed that the President has, in the end, waded into the unfortunate extended APC crises so as to instil discipline, we appreciate his efforts and task him to further ensure only a credible CHAIRMAN emerges from the congress as the integrity of the system and its product ought to be desirable to Nigerians"

Just yesterday APC National Stakeholders issued a communique after their global press conference denouncing any imposition as National  Chairman from any quarters or political bloc saying they preferred to support a younger aspirant for the top job.

"As stakeholders, we would rather throw our weight behind an aspirant whose integrity is unquestionable, someone who has demonstrated a proven capacity for youth inclusion and the ability to harvest the energy of young people to drive party activities, especially in this age of digital and social media mobilization."

Meanwhile, more APC members have started speaking up on Saliu Mustapha as their dearest candidate for the national chairmanship position.

" The truth is that Mallam Saliu Mustapha is running the race of millions of Nigerians, he clearly has shown that he would do things differently and make the party great.

We believe in his capacity and we must join hands together to make this a reality. Saliu Mustapha is the next National Chairman of our dearest party the APC."

" Something is happening in Nigeria right now, there is a wind of change. A wind blowing across the 36 States of the Federation. A wind of renewal, a wind of hope, Saliu Mustapha would breathe new life into our party"  Effiong Bassey.

"Saliu Mustapha has the potential to be the greatest Chairman in modern History, Scratch that.

We trust his ability to control inter-party squabbles that have dragged the party backwards over the years, we need leaders who can adopt a different political culture in administering our party.

We need leaders who can drive purposeful reforms in our party and fortunately for us we have Saliu Mustapha who is capable of fulfilling these expectations." Prince Nduka.

"Change is now essential because we were strolling in circles. due to the fact for too long, we have changed scandals with distinctive scandals, scandals that Nigerians cannot tolerate anymore, due to the actuality some want to gain from divisive politics.

Saliu Mustapha represents millions of Nigerians and we stand solidly in the back of his aspiration, we are bored with the imposition of party candidates to the detriment of competency and professionalism" Stanley Ogoro.

In this forthcoming congress, APC members have stated loud and clear that they have had enough of the same old debates. They think the party deserves better.
