Ravil Maganov, chairman of Russia’s biggest privately-held oil producer Lukoil, dies after "falling from window" at Moscow hospital.

In March, Lukoil’s board called for “the soonest termination of the armed conflict,” expressed “sincere empathy for all victims,” and said “we strongly support a lasting ceasefire and a settlement of problems through serious negotiations and diplomacy.”

total number of KIA

Wishing thinking

KIA 48k that means total personnel loss is (both killed and injured) is over 200k

How many did Russia deployed to Ukraine and how many is currently fighting at Donbass, Kharkiv and Southern Ukriane?

Like I said earlier,....wishful thinking and propaganda can not win a war fought with men and machines

Ukrainian leadership need to start telling their people the truth

UPDATE Kherson counteroffensive
Near the small village of Sukhoi Stavok, which the AFU briefly occupied the previous day, the remnants of that force were destroyed. Other pockets of AFU troops on the south side of the Ingulets River were similarly cut off and in danger of annihilation.
In a valiant but hopeless attempt to rescue their comrades, a column of 12 tanks crossed to the south side of the river. Some were immediately destroyed; several others were then destroyed when they drove over their own mine field in the course of a disorderly retreat.
Of the twelve Polish-supplied tanks sent across the river, only five were able to make it back safely to AFU-controlled territory.

This underscores the fact that the US/NATO can send weaponry, but it will be largely useless in inexperienced hands.
Apparently even the scant remnants of the Ukrainian Air Force tried to make a showing, but met with a similar fate as the AFU troops on the ground.

2 Su-25s, 1 Su-24, 1 MiG-29, and 3 Mi-8 helicopters were shot down during the previous 24 hours.
The accumulated cost of the increasingly catastrophic “counter-offensive”:

- 63 tanks
- 107 other armored vehicles
- 14 pickups with mounted machine guns
- over 1700 Ukrainian soldiers

I struggle to see how the Zelensky regime will survive this horrendous debacle.

more updates soon.

Interesting development: The nuclear inspectors trying to get to the plant have been held up by Ukraine's military for "three hours," says IAEA spokesman. "Grossi has personally negotiated with Ukrainian military authorities to be able to proceed."
Interfax-Ukraine now reporting that the IAEA convoy has passed the checkpoint and is moving into the "grey zone" where small arms fire was heard

The IAEA mission has reached the Vasilyevka checkpoint in Russian-controlled territory, around 60km from the Zaporozhye NPP

While ukraine shells the plant, moles from ukraine held territory tried to cross the river into the plant but were apprehended by russian forces, this is before the arrival of IAEA officials

Chip designer Nvidia Corp (NVDA.O) said on Wednesday that U.S. officials told it to stop exporting two top computing chips for artificial intelligence work to China, a move that could cripple Chinese firms' ability to carry out advanced work like image recognition and hamper Nvidia's business in the country.

The announcement signals a major escalation of the U.S. crackdown on China's technological capabilities as tensions bubble over the fate of Taiwan, where chips for Nvidia and almost every other major chip firm are manufactured.

China has been advancing space tech since the 1970s. Sanctions or no sanctions, a determined country in need would develop and advance at it's own pace e.g. South Korea, Japan, China, Iran e.t.c. Necessity was also one the reason Western countries advanced so much in tech.

A letter from 50 members of Congress: *34 Democrats* and 16 Republicans expressing fear of returning to the nuclear deal

The letter was sent to US President Biden and it states that they "express deep concern about the potential agreement with Iran, the world's leading sponsor of terrorism. Concerns include weakening the effectiveness of terrorism-related sanctions on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) *and allowing Russia to play a role in Iran's nuclear capabilities.*" The bipartisan group urges the administration not to act before consulting Congress first.
