Tensions flare between Israel and Hezbollah over disputed gas fields!: Israel is already developing one drilling site, the Karish Field, in what Lebanon claims are disputed territorial waters. After two years of talks, time is running out to reach a settlement by September, when Israel is expected to begin extracting gas from the first rig. Hezbollah has threatened to attack Israel if an acceptable deal isn't reached and has dispatched drones toward the gas field at least twice in recent weeks, including three unmanned aircraft that were shot down by Israel in early July. The drones appeared to be unarmed and caused no damage. But they hinted at Hezbollah's ability to strike the offshore facility at a time when Lebanon's economy is cratering. "We will reach Karish and everything beyond Karish and everything beyond that," Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah said in a televised speech. "War is much more honorable than the situation Lebanon is heading to now - collapse and starvation." "If the deal is not accepted by Lebanon or Israel, we are heading into a confrontation," said Jacques Neria, who was an adviser to Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin in the 1990s and is now with the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs. "Any war that starts on the maritime battlefield will spill out onto other arenas. If they hit our rigs, we'll hit them on land." |

BREAKING NEWS !!! Israeli strike in Syria’s town of Tarsus. Several loud explosions were heard in the area of Tartus located in Syria. According to a Lebanese source, the missiles were fired from the Lebanon area by IDF fighter jets. The Syrian army’s air defense are active. Local sources in Syria can’t recall a strike of that magnitude in this area!

The place of the attack in Tartus - it is in the southeast of the Syrian port city of Tartus which is completely controlled by the Russians. Israel is (allegedly) this evening bombing arms shipments recently received from the Iranians and ultimately intended for Hezbollah in Lebanon. ( Global Telegram)

Four days ago, a popular Russian Telegram account published photos of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Russian Wagner Group, visiting the headquarters of the unit in the occupied town of Popasna in the Donbas region. The Ukrainians recognized the place - and tonight they bombed it. Photos and videos show casualties being evacuated from the scene, but the extent of the damage is not yet clear.

According to words of it’s senior leaders, the middle of next month is the end of an ultimatum Hezbollah is giving Israel to reach a maritime border marking agreement with Lebanon or else it will move to military actions against the Karish gas rig which they claim is in Lebanese waters. According to latest reports from Syria, two senior officers were killed last night, in the alleged Israeli air strike on Tartus: 1) Muhammad Jaafar Matlak Ash'ati An Iranian general entrusted with the transfer of weapons on behalf of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps. 2) Abdel Karim Ahmed Hassan. The officer with the rank of brigadier general was killed as a result of a "marine accident" in the Tartus officers' club, how surprising that he died just as the area was attacked. (Abu Saleh)
