Bridge Publications International, California, United States of America has donated books to the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu–Alike, Ebonyi State, through their Global Partnership Manager, Mrs Melisa J. Graffam, to encourage readership among Nigerian students.

While giving overview of the donation, the University Librarian Dr. Juliana Akidi said the books are in 35 titles of 450copies and 37 titles in Compact Disk format of 415 copies respectively, adding that it is a blessing to the University as students have more relevant and modern books in diverse areas to read and gain knowledge.

She further thanked Mrs. Graffam for facilitating the donation and ensuring that the books were shipped to the University.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Elom represented by the Deputy Vice-chancellor, Administration, Prof. Abel Ezeoha while receiving the books appreciated the publishing house for their donations, assuring that the books would be domiciled in the University library to ensure that students have unrestricted access to it.
