The Mayegun of Yoruba land, Chief Wasiu, recently celebrated his 65th birthday on March 3, 2022. At the birthday occasion to mark his birthday was his proud and joyous 101 year old mother Of Wasiu Ayinde, Hajia Halimat Shadiat. In a viral video shows Kwam1 holding his mother, who was wearing a typical Yoruba outfit, ‘Iro and Buba’, as they walked to the venue of the birthday ceremony. The 101-year-old woman was spotted in orange clothes while responding to greeting from people at the party venue. The video also captured how people at the venue hailed the elderly woman by singing and praying for her in Yoruba language.
