But a single F-35 takes over 40,000 man hours to build.
Then all the support structures, stores, training..... which can only be sped up by the War Act of Congress.... which technically means America is at war ....which it isn't.... so a long, long wait.

Poland is a NATO member unlike Ukraine, Putin know better not to touch them as it means him escalating the war to now involve face to face contact with NATO.

There is no way in the world the US would go to war with Russia, an equally strong nuclear adversary for the sake of Ukraine. Europe too understands the futility and utter foolishness of bringing world War scenario in its territory.
On the contrary, US and EU may actually wish to have a protracted war between Russia and Ukraine as another way to see Russia's fighting capabilities and underbelly, as a means of further weakening Russia, meanwhile, using the media to humiliate Russia.
For the long term geopolitics of that region, the current suffering of the people of Ukraine would simply be collateral damage , an unavoidable means to an end.

Even with their current military assets, Poland is not a match for Russia. Giving some of their aircrafts to Ukraine will not make them more vulnerable. An attack on Poland will draw NATO and their collective military equipment into war with Russia. In that scenario, it wouldn't matter much if Poland have 100 or 10 fighter jets. Poland is just trying to be smart and business minded. But being vulnerable, Naaah!

Hmmm. Nuclear weapons are built for deterrence purpose mainly. If you had to use them, they have failed in their main purpose.
The main reason why you have nuclear weapon is to make everyone else afraid of attacking you knowing fully well you have the capability to devastate their homeland. You can see the high level of reluctance from NATO( which are nuclear powers too) to get directly involved. Ask yourself, if it was Belarus that invaded Ukraine(without Russian support) what do you think NATO will be doing by now? So the nukes are serving their purpose.

Conversely, Russia will never step a foot on an inch of NATO land no matter how mad Putin becomes. He knows NATO will react with everything in their arsenal including nuclear weapons. Yes, Russia can destroy the majority of NATO nations, but thats hard comfort when NATO will also ensure that not a single inch of Russia is not smoldering nuclear waste.
