Elvictor:Russia can be compared with Nigeria in terms of leadership corruption and mismanagement. Russia is one of the countries blessed with the highest natural resources, from natural gas to crude oil and versed land good for Agricultural and other purposes just like Nigeria but leadership corruption have kept Russia under par when compared to smaller EU countries close to it that have no natural mineral resources. Majority of rich Russians don't invest most of their wealth in Russia for fear of economic uncertainty due to corrupt leadership. They go to EU, US and Asia to invest most of their wealth for safe keeping and peace of mind. Wage is very low in Russia when compared to most smaller EU nations. The problem with Russia is corrupt government, if not, Russia has what it takes to be among the first world nations economically. 2 Likes 1 Share |

franchasng: You just said Russia could be compared to Nigeria in terms of Leadership, which Nigeria leader can you compare to any Russia president? Is Russia topping Nigeria in corruption index? A country with 24hours light, that could decide the world future, is mismanaged? Please, how is Russia mismanaged? |

Elvictor:That is to tell you how low Russia is economically. Italy is one of the most mismanaged EU nations. Russia is a developing country bro, its a known fact. Go to quora and read Russians collaborate this too. They are good in military and defense technology, but economically they score zero due to corrupt leadership and government. They are also great in space technology but when it comes to industrial and manufacturing technologies, Germany, and others take the lead. Russia's problem is bad leadership just like Nigeria 1 Like |

Elvictor:Yes Russia is among the most corrupt nations, make a personal research. What's covering their nyash is their enormous natural mineral resources and military technology expertise. Vladimir Putin is more corrupt than Abacha. Putin is the richest man on earth worth over 200billion USD. He kills opposition at will. He handpick leaders in Russia according to his own standard. He loots Russian wealth as he pleases and nobody dare talk unless the person is ready to die or flee Russia forever. The reason Nigeria is struggling with electricity and other basic amenities of life is because we dont have our own indigenous technology. If we had, whether corrupt leaders or not, we will have steady light by default. Nuclear power plants power Russian electricity and Russia is one of the leaders in nuclear power technology. So those things have nothing to do with their corrupt government cos they have it locally by default unlike we Nigeria that need to pay and import them. The only way west African nations can grow is to pursue the acquisition of local indigenous technologies at all cost. Those locally made refineries they were destroying in Niger Delta ought to have been preserved and instead tax them heavily and give them conditions to meet but allow them to operate and with time they will improve on their technology. That's how to grow local technology. How I wish we can have a peaceful division of Nigeria so Igbos can chart a path for their future generations via local technology acquisition. Another way countries invent and preserve local technology is through wars. Some of the rare local technologies Igbos invented under Biafra during the civil war ought to have been preserved by Nigerian government after the war. You preserve and improve on them not destroy them which was a big mistake on the Nigerian side. Most technologies we are enjoying in the world today were invented during world war II. 3 Likes 1 Share |

franchasng: Be precise, is Russia topping Nigeria in corruption index? You mean Abacha is like Putin? Are you comparing Abacha with Putin? So, isn't those who are managing the country that made nuclear power plant a default? |

Re: Ukraine Vows To Turn Their Cities Into Stalingrad For The Russian Invaders by franchasng: 10:46pm On Mar 06, 2022 |
Elvictor:The initial founding fathers of Russia were more focused on national growth and technology than Russian leaders of today. Most of their basic amenities, city structures, roadmaps, technologies, etc were all designed and built many decades ago before these crop of corrupt Russian leaders came to power |

kolaaderin:Iran, North Korea, Pakistan and even India all have nuclear weapons and yet they are either developing or underdeveloped countries. Nuclear weapon or military might doesn't make you a developed country, your GDP, PCI and other KPIs are what qualifies you as developed, developing or poor. |

Officialgarri: 10 years after this war, Nigerians will be struggling to get to Ukraine. War brings development to hard working people- Japanese and Germans . Europe was plagued by 2 major wars, yet Europe with USA dominates world economy. |

franchasng:You are right. Just to add that other ethnic groups in SU played significant roles.Russians made up of 50% of former SU. Even the battle of stalingrad were fought by Soviets troops, 35% of whom were Ukrainians while the leader of SU was a Georgian not Russia. Most nuclear warheads were developed by Soviet scientsist not only Russian scientists. |
