PROPHETESS MUMMY APO SET TO COMMISSION PALATIAL ORPHANAGE" IN ABUJA

Appeals to Government to implement Child Rights Acts.

Prophetess Nkeiru Ihezuo (Mummy Apo) An Abuja based Cleric, Humanitarian, Philanthropist and the founder of God's Divine Answers Ministry Apo Resettlement Abuja is set to Commission a state of the art palatial home for orphans and Vunerable children.

The Celebrated and widely sought after woman of God who is known for her accurate and deep prophetic revelation made this known during her weekly prayer program at the Headquarters of God's Divine Answers Ministry Apo Abuja.

She stated that she was divinely instructed by God to build and furnish the palatial home to take care of orphans, vulnerable and deprived children in and beyond Abuja.

According to Mummy Apo, "the United Nations Convention on the rights of the child makes it clear that a child has the right to care and protection if they are adopted or in foster care,

*
"It also stipulates that a child has the right to special care and help if they cannot live with their parents,

"This makes orphanages a source of refuge for many children orphaned or made homeless for a variety of reasons."

She however expressed her displeasure on the growing number of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) nationwide which has been estimated at 17.5 million by Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development

She appealed to the Nigerian Government at all levels to implement the provisions of child right act as lack of commitment towards the Act has caused millions of Nigerian children to be at the mercy of poverty, hunger, illiteracy, disease, squalour, war, slavery and other forms of bondage, must be stopped once and for all.

She further appealed to Nigerians and viewers who watch her weekly program to donate generously to the home for the upkeep of the children who will be provided with Nutrition and Education.
