Firstly, a dreamer is not a prophet. A Prophet is God's servant whose message comes directly from God. Joseph in the bible was a dreamer but was never a prophet. Dreaming and it coming to pass is a certain gift.

A prophet aside the ability to hear audibly, see visions, prophesize under divine inspiration without pre-meditation, may also be able to dream dreams and come to pass.
