You cannot compare Kanu and Sunday Igboho. The latter didn't even commit any serious crime so leaving the country was just pointless and ill-advised.

On the other hand, Kanu is a proud commander and leader of a well-armed separatist group that has been accused of killing hundreds of security operatives and destroying lots of police stations in SE/SS.
