Wilfred Ndidi, Leicester City of England and Super Eagles defensive midfielder, has revealed that playing for Nath Boys football club and in the Lagos Junior League really had a great impact on his career as a professional footballer.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with DAILY INDEPENDENT in the United Kingdom, Ndidi who currently plays for Leicester FC in the English Premier League said he is enjoying every moment he has in the Premiership and he is doing his utmost to make maximum use of the opportunity.

“My experience playing at Nath Boys was amazing because it shaped me into the player I am today.
“As a little boy in a well-structured academy where we have private teachers and have the time to play football, it was very cool. Also having to play in the Lagos Junior League also helped my career a great deal. It was fun.

“My experience in the Premier League has been wonderful so far. I am enjoying every moment of it and I’m grateful for the opportunities it presents. I am also trying to make use of it as much as I can,” he said.
