If you had them, the Fulani police and military services would deploy them on non-Fulani Nigerians deceiving other Muslims they are islamising Nigeria while actually capturing those who refuse to see.

Not until the meaningless contraption that benefits no one is broken nothing good can ever happen or can the country acquire.
Look at russia-ukrain war, every Boundary/space is clearly monitored through technology, but here we have been crying about fulani herdsmen, fulani bandits, fulani BokoHaram, kidnappers in our forests without idea to sincerely track and eliminate them. The question is, when we know there are devices/technology to monitor our space, why can't we put all the money required on it?

"I don't blame the OP, just like many ignorant young idiots on Nairaland who come online and say shit they don't know about Nigeria...

I am sure if you knew we have some bad ass choppers you won't even bother creating this thread, some ignorant idiots still assume Nigeria cannot produce toothpicks...like seriously? Are they still living in the 90's or what?... Ignorance is surely a big disease.

If only they knew how blessed this country is they won't belittle her". Village People Spokesperson.

NO... It's not about the cash or corruption. Powerful countries who make these would never sell to another which is far less than theirs. It's like giving your enemies your inventions. Try and read more but most importantly read between the line. This gives them the edge.

There are no support structures to operate these platforms so they will become expensive burdens within a short while.
To procure is not the problem. To operate effectively is.

We can't acquire these helicopters, these are US made Apache Longbow and Cobra helicopters, the Leahly laws won't allow us get these sophisticated military hardware. You won't believe that countries in the middle East have these military hardware. Countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar. These military hardware are very sophisticated and accurate, with the Apache helicopter you can launch attack on bandits from 80 -100 km away.
