I think this is a better way to handle this kind of situation. But to be honest, I don't agree with the way and manner people defect from one party to another while in office. The law should protect political parties from such. Cross carpeting while in office should be discouraged.

Politicans are bunch of hypocrites. They jump from one party to another for their selfish aggrandizement. Bunch of schemers!

I wish these rubber stamp ducks in the name of assembly members, who follow governors that defect like flies escorting a poo stained ass, can be taught a bitter lesson by the court. The judgement of the higher court(s) can help sanitize our democratic process forthwith.

That of Umahi may likely be reverse on Appeal, but the 17 sheepishly defected lawlessmakers are all gonners

The governor and his deputy have great chance to retain their positions but the lawmakers have least or none.

State assemblies are useless as well as governors.

They need to abolish all these useless states that were originally created to divide and conquer the nations the British colonized

We are begging our constituents to remain law-abiding,

You should not ask them to remain law-abiding. They voted you as PDP but you betrayed them. I know for sure they are happy you are all sacked.
