Russia has said China refused to support them with the supply of aircraft parts, CNN reports


Russia said China rejected requests to support them with aircraft parts as Moscow looks to source components following tough aviation sanctions from the U.S and other Western countries.

Russian Head of the Aircraft Airworthiness Department, at the Federal Air Transport Agency, Valery Kudinov, said there were around 70 aircraft in the Russian register before the end of February.

According to him, the situation with the maintenance of aircraft and imports of spare parts is planned to be resolved, including through the re-export of components.


Kudinov added, “As far as I know … China refused,” adding that Russia would continue searching through other countries such as Turkey or India. “Each company will negotiate on its own,” Kudinov said.

It is no longer news that the world’s two biggest aircraft manufacturers, Boeing and Airbus, have both suspended supply of components to Russian airlines over the invasion of Ukraine.

Russia, China and couple of countries from the developing world should come together and form a very big aircraft manufacturing company to compete with Boeing and Airbus! These two companies have monopolized this market for years and are always in the habit of ruining the aviation industry of any nation that disagrees with the west. Many people in the middle east have died as a result of sanctions on spare parts imposed by these companies. They just don't care and that's what happens with monopolies..

It's foundamentally wrong to use sanctions in this way. Most VIPs can easily get some private jets to fly around, so the sanctions aircraft spare parts can only hurt the ordinary people and this has led to air crashes in several countries. China and Russia can form a consortium with couple of other serious countries like Pakistan, India, Serbia, Iran, South Africa etc to start off an aircraft industry that can compete globally. I would have liked Nigeria to join them, but that epileptic kwantiri is nothing but a monumental disgrace to humanity..
