I have been studying the political atmosphere of Nigeria for sometime now, like the topic implies why the VP is the favourite, I will highlight some points here.

1)He is the current VP of Nigeria, and as normal procedure all over the world, he has the right of first refusal.
2)He is intelligent smart and very educated.
3)The little time he acted as the acting president, we could all see the difference he made.
4)Religion favours him as a Christian, we all know that the outgoing president is a Muslim.
5)The political appointees of the president have started mobilising for him, so what else do you need as a prove that for now he is the favourite, there is no way the political appointees of the president will be campaigning for him without some assurances and green light from the presidency.,example of such was the endorsement in akwa ibom organised by the senior special assistant to the president on Niger delta, ita Inang, sentiment apart this guy is the favourite. Thank you

I am sure he will declare very soon, as it now he has no choice than to come out and let everyone knows his stand.

Moreover the last election in lekki ikoyi that most of you use as yardstick is bizarre, because osinbajo is from ogun state, and he never lost there, ikoyi lekki axis are more of foreigners based, even asiwaju will likely lose there, for your information osinbajo had moved his polling unit to ikenne, that can't be said if Amaechi that always lose in home town, osinbajo home town is ikenne.
