Arise O thou that sleepeth and Christ shall give you light.
Are you sleeping? Can you certainly say that you're not?
Where is the God of Elijah? We need young people who will be appalled by the dealings and doing of the present day Church.
The present day church has lost great ground which our fathers in the journey of faith claimed for the cause of Christ.
The church of our generation is like the Laodicea church age that the book of revelation spoke about.
Our emphases are on money, political power, and material blessings only. In some quarters these are a must at all cost even if the means to get it in ungodly ways.
Though few teach balanced Bible principles along this line, majority are out to get something for themselves and have thereby mortgage the gospel for the sake of their own belly.
The scripture says the earnest creation awaited the manifestation of the sons of God.
For the sons of God to manifest in what way?
With only money, political power or only material blessings.
Is that what the scripture said?
The last time I checked, Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord said, as the Father has sent me, even so send I you.
And he breathed on them and said unto them receive the Holy Spirit.
Saying, whosoever sins you forbid are forbidden, whosoever sins you retain, will be retained.
From this scripture, we can learn that we were given something more than money and material blessings.
As we honestly hold unto this gifts and impartation from our Lord Jesus Christ; money, buildings will naturally flow in our direction as we help solve the problems of this world through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Scripture documented it that proceeds of business transaction were placed at the apostle’s feet. Note the apostles’ of our Lord Jesus Christ never mounted pressure on people, or the early church. Rather, they used their good will to uplift and comfort those who were vulnerable.
They were never in it for material blessings, or fame, or the applause of men.
Men you must arise, women you must arise because when the story of this generation is been written, what will be written about you?
What will your contributions be? What will God do through you because you arose?
It is time to step up and bring a change to your generation and neighbourhood.
