On what appears to be a reversal of decision by president Buhari on Wednesday,he has directed that the status quo ante be allowed in the Apc having been advised by the attorney general of the federation, malami SAN of the grave legal consequences of summarily dismissing Mai mala Buni as chairman of the caretaker committee of the party. The danger signal was sent by INEC in their letter to the party as regards the purported change of leadership as due process was not followed. If they had proceeded beyond that,the Apc would have found itself in a situation where they can't field any candidate for the 2023 general election. I think the party should be grateful to INEC for drawing their attention to the danger ahead.
