I think Lagos will have definitely been a better place for this match so that the fear of being mobbed by touts in Lagos should they failed to win will have driven them into better performance.

Imagine yesterday's match com be like 2primary 3 games undecided

Nigerians are hypocrites. Don't just make them smell success. The would ask for more. When they started complaining why Rohr couldn't win Afcon with the players he had when we lost to Mahrez free kick, that when I knew something must be wrong with we seeing some kind of success or we are just a country where everybody thinks they know something when they are actually bad performers when given the job.

Yesterday’s games was so boring that I felt our analyst would be fuming but danm. They couldnt see the stars again to blame.

We were terrible under Rohr if you compare the opposition.
We got the results when it matters and also the players commitment . That's what matters and that's exactly what we are going to be facing from now on. Like the loss at Afcon, no one can compare it with the previous one we got 3rd and lost the semi final at extra time. We had no calculator for qualifications. We are realy back. If you watch the socalled big teams in Africa, you would know the fuckups weren't Nigeria alone during Rohr time.

Who remembers Nigeria vs South Africa at the same Abuja Stadium in the 2015 AFCON qualifiers? The Eagles needed a win against Bafana Bafana to at least better Congo in that decider, but slumped to a 2 goal lead, before rallying back with a brace from Aluko to end it 2-2.
We didn't qualify for that AFCON thus failing to defend the title we won back in 2013.
I know Nigerians have short memory when it comes to politics and sports, but this is a cautionary tale for y'all.

Ghana could get a score draw and qualify; so we have to be extremely careful on Tuesday. Don't put too much pressure on the Eagles I beg una.

Going away in Ghana, playing Infront of those intimidating Ghanaian fans with desperate Ghanaian footballs that are ready to redeem their image after a AFCON disaster and getting a 0-0 scoreline by Super Eagles is by far no beans.

I agree SuperEagles had a better chance of winning the first leg...But it was no so easy as we dey see am for TV...

From all analyst... SuperEagles have done a decent job picking a point under intense pressure..

They will play better in front of their own fans too..

Super Eagles to fin in Abuja!
.

in knockout stages, it is goals that matter not points, this is not a group stage match.

goals is a determinant factor to qualify

You lack football knowledge. Tactical play comes before result. Whatever results gotten under Rohr was artificial. Get the tactics right first and later the results that LL stand test of time will start to come

NB: Nig lost to Algeria at the normal time not at extra time

Last AFCON exit was due to one man down and goalkeeping error, the eagles dominated the game before those incident happened

Bro this is Africa and tactis matters less. We lost after 90minutes. That's what I mean by extra time. Well, I hope Eguavon give us the original result. Tunisia scored in 47 and we got a red card in 66. So much result for our domination

Tactics work even in Africa
that's why no minows have won the AFCON in recent times.

Playing 10 man for 30mins out of 45 mins , that's over 50% of the half. Whatever tactical switch the coach had in mind was hampered by the red card

Nigerians can talk! Enough of it already! You guys made so much noise about how you were going to slaughter us at our backyard. After a disappointed and a much disintegrated performance, the excuse now was "Oh, Ndidi didn't start". Like seriously?

What you should be concerned about is that, you are playing a relatively younger Ghanaian side that have very good players. Your players couldn't match our speed and energy level.

Our hopes is to get the first goal at Abuja, then the rest will be history.

Re: gatecrash123

My opinion on our lineup against ghana tomorrow: i feel the coach should go for the lineup he used at the nations cup(4-2-3-1) with osimhen and balogun who are not available at the nations cup coming in, cos we definitely need balogun's height for set piece. So the defence should be; aina, balogun, ekong and zaidu.

Then for the midfield, i will go for aribo and i feel onyeka should replace injured ndidi. Iheanacho should play as a supporting striker that he is, then osimhen as the number 9.

As for the two wingers, i feel the coach should go for lookman and chukwueze reason because they are our less physical wingers among the four available. So by the time it's second half the Ghanaians would have gotten tired, then simon and Dennis can come in and torment the tired Ghanaians defence.
Then for for goalkeeper uzoho should start.

Osimhen

Lookman iheanacho chukwueze

Aribo onyeka

Zaidu aina
Ekong balogun

Uzoho

The NFF better throw the gates open and get the crowd in at all cost, even if it means conveying them via free commercial buses. Because if we lose this ticket, omo the money wey dem go make from ticket sales would have been a waste..

Walahi if the Eagles fail, I'm going to hold the NFF and the sports Minister responsible as well. Let's mobilize the fans abeg. Football is the one thing that makes us happy in this country. If na APC rally now, dem know how to mobilize buses for their teeming zombies o

Fill up the stadium and see whether Ghana no go chop at least 3goals.
