We must win at all cost. We should score 2 goals as quickly as possible.

The super eagles must be keen to play at the world cup. Playing at the world cup and showcasing their talents will boost their careers. And it will encourage scouts to look for young Nigerians for their clubs.

I did not see the drive to want to be at the world cup in their first game. Even towards the end of the match, Uzoho no quickly release ball. Most of them played as if nothing was at stake. Was it Eguaveon that made them play in a lackadaisical manner?

Our players can put up a better performance .

Who remembers Nigeria vs South Africa at the same Abuja Stadium in the 2015 AFCON qualifiers? The Eagles needed a win against Bafana Bafana to at least better Congo in that decider, but slumped to a 2 goal lead, before rallying back with a brace from Aluko to end it 2-2.
We didn't qualify for that AFCON thus failing to defend the title we won back in 2013.
I know Nigerians have short memory when it comes to politics and sports, but this is a cautionary tale for y'all.

Ghana could get a score draw and qualify; so we have to be extremely careful on Tuesday. Don't put too much pressure on the Eagles I beg una.
The match was played U yo stadium not Abuja
It is you that did not have good memory sir

I am nt a saddist but the truth must be told.....wit our Almighty star studded team against a barely known new ghananian side we couldn't even play convincingly talkess of scoring.....look, super eagles re at the disadvantage here bcus Ghana will b looking to score just one goal and park the bus.....now the question begging answer is, can our super eagles score 2goals against Ghana? Even if we take d lead by 1-0 wats d guarantee dat d Ghanaians will not equalize in d dying minutes of d game....see, I'm really really scared for dat match nd I dont see us qualifying. Thank you.

With the nonsense that was played on Friday, the team that will eventually qualify will just go there to fill up numbers, because World Cup no be place where you go cross ball outside the stadium ó.

After playing like two little kids on the pitch making sure they pressured Ghana in today's match

I doubt if both teams would be able to beat any team at the world cup (teams like portugal,Croatia and the rest)

And from my own estimation, teams like Senegal, Morocco, Cameron even Egypt are better than this teams though

And for those other people just shouting eguavon up and down (let's be sincere here the guy has tried),it's now up to the players to do their best and not play trash on the field like two little kids wrestling

I still believe the super eagles can use this second opportunity to their maximum,at least they should be able to beat Ghana at home this time (even if say na rubbish the two teams dey play....LMAO)

I'm not really into football but I love world cup so that I can support my country Nigeria

You said it all

Good observation. I believe it's the team's game plan to play a goaless draw and leave everything to the second leg.

I think this pattern is outdated and risky because players these days have overcome the pressure of home and away. That's why UEFA scrapped the away goals rule this year.

Moses Simon should be coming from bench and that is if we are leading by at least two goals. His role should be confined to wearing down the opponents when they are tired.

If we need goals and play Simon, I don't see us winning. He spoils attack to too much aimless dribbling with zero ability to cross or shoot.

Emmanuel Dennis should start

Musa could be a game-changer in this make-or-break qualifier. Let's not look past him.

Eguaveon has a chance to win Ghana over two legs

The last time after winning at home 3-1 in Nigeria
He lost the reverse fixture 2-0 in Kumasi

And the u23 team missed out on away goal rule. After 3-3 aggregate

But here in abuja this time its redemption time
but there is no away goal ad again..

Nigerians can talk! Enough of it already! You guys made so much noise about how you were going to slaughter us at our backyard. After a disappointed and a much disintegrated performance, the excuse now was "Oh, Ndidi didn't start". Like seriously?

What you should be concerned about is that, you are playing a relatively younger Ghanaian side that have very good players. Your players couldn't match our speed and energy level.

Our hopes is to get the first goal at Abuja, then the rest will be history.
keep quiet. Why do you like to disturb our peace. Your contribution here didn't carry any weight. Why can't you go to Ghanaland ,your copy cat of Nairaland. You supposed to be an observer. Who registered you on our platform.
