pls i want to begin my ican quest pls where do i start.then how many stages is ICAN.cuz i do not really no dis march diet,nov diet and so on.and how are tutorials connected with ICAN.secondly i already have national diploma in accounting which stage will i begin from.

what is the minimm required amount am looking at.pls help me with infos if u gat.thanks.but my N.D is lower sha o.

Ican has two Sub heads which is ATS and the Professional
ATS has 3 Stages(ats 1,2&3) while professional has 3 stages(Intermediate,P.e 1&P.e 2)
For the ATS stages exams are done in March and September
While for the Professional exams are done in May and November


With your OND in accounting you will be exempted from ATS1&2,so you will start from ATS 3
So all you need to do is go to any ican office in your area,if you are in lagos Ican office is at 25,Association avenue,Ilupeju,with your result so you can know how to go about getting an exemption

thanks memunah.but pls what about the acca.which one is more prefered in terms of standard and worldwide acceptance(acca or ican)

ACCA is preferable if you can afford it,its a UK exam,pay in foreign currency

Ican is A nigeria exam
