We all know that Sundays to Nigerian pastors arw the happiest days of their lives as they'll be expecting another batch of tithes and offering. That being said, what will you do in this situation?

tithe, is just 10%, you can give from the 90% remaining. tithe or no tithe is a matter of choice
even the people that are criticizing the people that pay tithe dont use to give the needs

Same thing you should do to your school fees or utility bills. Give alms to the poor, giving alms should not stop you from being responsible or getting sense.

If truly the tithe is still in operation as part of the requirements or duties of a Christian then nothing should stop you from paying what you vow to God. Ecclesiastes 5:4-5
Back then in Israel widows and orphans are the ones who benefits from the tithes been paid without having to contribute {Deuteronomy 14:28-29} so instead of giving the beggar on the street God has made arrangements for taking care of widows and orphans, and if you look at the picture it's obvious that the woman is a widow while the boy is an orphan which means if it's back then they supposed to benefit from the tithes you're paying to the temple.
We are in Nigeria and it's 2022 c.e. when Jesus has established another covenant in which the tithe is no longer in operation {Hebrews 7:11-12} so we should help the needy in our midst otherwise when the boy in the picture grows up and become joyless nothing stops him from joining bad gangs that will come with weapons to rob you! smiley
