This may be factual but thought provoking
IF YOU TAKE

If you take a school leaver O' level and you enrol him with a tailor

3 years after he would be able to sew any style of clothing

If you take a school leaver and you enrol him with a mechanic

3 years latter, he would be able to fix just any car, even the complex internal combustion engine and it's systems.

If you take a school leaver and you enrol him with a Mobile phone repairer

3 years after, he would repair your latest iPhone with precision

If you take a school leaver and you enrol her with a baker

3 years after she is baking multi level cake of different varieties and taste for occasions.

If you take a school leaver and you enrol him with a welder

3 years after he would fabricate gates and just anything made of iron.

If you take a school leaver and you enrol him with an event planner

3 years after, she would handle your events with such skill and style.

But

If you take a school leaver and you put him in a university

Under the tutelage of Professors and Doctors

4 or 5 years + Strikes after,

He would not know beyond diagrams, formulae, Definitions and Theories.

He would need extra training to work in his industry.

He would be seeking for who to employ him or her

Is anything wrong with the school leaver?

NO, I doubt

But something is wrong with the system that kept him for 5+x years yet made him obtuse and out of touch with reality of what obtains in the real world.

That system needs to be OVERHAULED

but while you await its OVERHAULING

Hi! My delightful reader. This is Cozy Mario writing. The intro write-up above titled 'If You Take' was gotten from a guy named Nzegwu Ejike Kennedy,and 'school leaver' as used in the context refers to any high school graduate.
As we see from that write,that when the school education process enters the university/college level,it has entered the danger zone,and from this point onwards the individual or individuals involved begin to go downhill with a very rapid speed,even without realizing it.
Of course they wouldn't know what is happening,because the environment they found themselves in might seem too busy,...busy with busyness. Clothes and bags,shoes and socks,textbooks and handouts,girls and boys,crushes and loves,all in. So they will never realize it,cos they've been locked up in a different ephemeral world. But a few do realize it anyway,and more will join after the convocation day with the interesting robes. Hahaha. I got that from Africa's literary sensation #Chimamanda_Ngozi_Adichie. You recall the interesting robe from the #KalamazooCollege?
Yeah yes that one. You guys should go check it out really. Hehe. And that's by the way though.
It came to a point in my life where I began to view school education as some sort of wickedness. They are simply worldly rudiments set up in a bid to try and control people's destinies,to slow them down and also to determine the extents to which they go in life,really making it difficult for them to rise above the controller,the dictator,above the overbearing shadow which is hanging,circulating overhead.
You see people really do reject the way of knowledge,...
