Even the Pharisees didn't believe the saviour was around. They employed all that they read from the Torah and yet couldn't identify him. How come they were this daft? They are no different from our generation which judges things with their five senses.

In 2 peter 3:8, "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

The immortals are not regulated by time. The lord, Jesus lives in ageless aeons. So, if Jesus left us 2 thousand years ago, it means in the eyes of the immortal, Jesus left like two days ago. This shows that the death of Jesus is still fresh among the triune being.

Even if he is not coming back. One thing is certain, it is called death and it can happen anytime. I don't discuss rapture while on evangelism the message of rapture is for those who are in the faith as most unbelievers can't comprehend it. So I use a realistic thing that happens around them everyday which is death and let them know life does not end here.
