You don't have to sanctions to show solidarity..
Nigeria was among the countries that voted against Russia at the UN general assembly..
Also FG also condemned the attack when Russia invaded Ukraine

You don't have to sanctions..
The west are pushing China not to sanctions Russia
But just to condemn it action..
If China should only condemn Russia the balance and dynamics of the war changes drastically..

Sorry Ukraine we can't sanction Russia because of you...our interest lies with Russia more than you, and you guys never did nothing for us. International relations and diplomacy is all about National interest. It's not our business to sanction Russia because of Ukraine.
They have been antagonising India and other countries for not supporting them. India told the west "Russia has always supported us when you lots tool us for fools". America refuses to give them top of the line weapons but Russia does. Remember when America refused to give us weapons during Jonathan's administration? It was Russia that came to our rescue.
