MORE ENDORSEMENT FOR APC DEPUTY NATIONAL CHAIRMANSHIP ASPIRANT .

As the date slated for the National Convention of the All Progressives Congress APC draws nearer, one of the aspirants running for position of the Deputy National Chairman South and also a front line runner, Hon Emma Eneukwu, seems to be most popular Candidate amongst others.

This is because of the solidarity Shown to him by critical stakeholders in the party across the Federation.

In the latest Development, A popular Political movement in South East APC, known as the South East youth Advocacy Movement for All Progressives Congress APC, a Political group that have their structures in all the Political wards across the 5 states in the zone, has come out open to support the candidacy of Hon Emma Eneukwu.

The Group, who are also the sort after Group in South East APC based on having over 35% of her members, who are delegates of the party.

It has also been confirmed that, they have more than 8 members,who are either the party's Local Government Chairman or Secretary, per South Eastern State.

Speaking with Newsmen in Abuja on Friday, after their NEC meeting, which lasted for 6 hours and finished by 6am, the leader of the Group, Hon Ndubuisi Agu stated that, They arrived at the candidacy of Hon Eneukwu after making an in dept analysis of 2 candidates fighting for the position from South East and Enugu State in particular.

He stated that, some of the criteria They examined includes, party antecedents, leadership prowess, age,(youthfulness) acceptability and integrity.

He opined that, after rigorous comments from their members, they agreed to stand for Hon Eneukwu and support him.

Parts of his statement says "As you can see, we just finished our NEC meeting and it is not a child's play"

"We have been receiving representatives of different aspirants from our Zone and other zones and we don't endorse people anyhow"

"If you look at our members, you will find out that, They are made up of people who are APC in and Out,"

"People Who believe so much in the party and ready to even spend their personal resources to get the party going towards the positive direction"

"Out of the 2 candidates contesting for the post of the Deputy National Chairman South, who are equally from the same state, we considered competence, integrity, party inputs, youthfulness and acceptability by other people Who are not APC"

"We then arrived at Hon Emma Enukwu, who has distinguished himself as a core party man with no dent on his name; despite series of dents and accusations on most party leaders from Enugu State"

Hon Agu also directed all their members who are delegates to work for the emergence of Hon Eneukwu as his emergence would position the party in a strategic place of conquering the southern part of Nigeria and retire PDP; while also urging other fellow delegates from other States, to support the former Zonal Vice Chairman, South East because, they have strong conviction that he is the Best person for the job.
