In addition to ur response, Osama was a member of the Taliban group. As at 2001, the Taliban runs the show in Afghanistan, and they decided to harbour the criminal- Osama. Efforts to make the Taliban hand him over fell on deaf ears, that was y NATO invaded Afghanistan in 2001 (after 9/11).
